Left For Dead 2 is another giant win, even if it’s on the 360 or Pc this has been another great experience from Valve the creators of  Team Fortress, Half-Life® 2: Episode Two and many more. From awesome voice overs and Witty remarks you can’t go wrong with this buy. I was a little bias when picking this copy up during 2009’s Black Friday deals but this has been one of my favorite games this year. You will not pull this game out of your disk tray I promise! Left 4 Dead 2 is set at roughly the same time as the original – just after the outbreak that turned most of the population into various zombie mutants. Players assume the role of 4 new “Survivors,” each with their own personality and new dialog. The game leads these “Survivors” through the southeastern region of the US – from Savannah, Georgia thru the bayou country, and climaxing in New Orleans’ French Quarter.

You can play with either of the four characters that Valve presents to you, including Nick, Coach, Ellis, and Rochelle. Nick is the almighty pretty boy who would rather gamble his life then survive in a apocalyspe. Then there’s Coach, well Couch maybe the most sensible and intelligent one in the group he has his pros and cons in the game. We can’t forget the good old southern redneck Ellis whose official instructions is to kill all sons of bitches! He adds the most comedy to the game. Last but not least is Rochelle the sweet, headstrong female that portrays more balls then the guys. She keeps the other survivors on their toes. The game is absolutely addicting and fun to play with friends.

But, the story line is once again short. But, that is not the only thing that it falls short of. To me, i feel that Valve is holding out on telling us the truth behind the disastrous outbreak. This could also be that they are trying to utilize both Left For Dead 1 & 2 as the story to tie in. We should be expecting an update soon that will give us the ability to play as the crew from Left For Dead 1 so this could help the cause. Is this game worth it? Well, if you are a huge fan of zombie apocalypse movies, then you will have loads of fun with this sequel. Yes, L4D2 is another zombie shooter, but it gives us a more interactive way of gaming. There has been talk of utilizing Project Natal with this amazing zombie shooter. Relying on your friends is a must in the multiplayer matches. This gives you more of a hardcore gameplay. Realism mode is the newest add-on in L4D2 and it adds more thrill to the game, and a shit load more of zombies to kill. Left For Dead has become one of my most favorite games on the Xbox 360 and that is a lot to say coming from someone who enjoys single player action such as Uncharted 2 and ect. So, to sum things up ladies and gentlemen we here at D_GU.com give L4D2 a 9 out 10 for highest replay value.
