Dino Crisis, Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 3: Nemesis will be heading to the PS3 in the future
Well, it looks like Dino Crisis and Resident Evil 2 and 3 will be heading to the PSN, according to the ESRB at least. Unfortunately there are no release dates for these titles as of now, but if you look up these titles on the ESRB website, you will see that the Playstation 3 name has been listed under Platforms. It’s great to see more classics come down the road and jump on the PSN, it seems a lot of old classics are finding new life on either the PSN, XBLA, or VC. I personally wish someone would think outside of the box here, I’m not sure if these guys are just looking at the revenue that old classics can bring in from players that never had the opportunity to experience the titles or us nostalgic old fogies. But seriously guys, lets add a little something to the mix, Capcom and Sony; I’m issuing you guys an OPEN challenge: Be the first to release these three classic games WITH Trophy support.(Bionic Commando: Rearmed does not count as it received miscellaneous updates.) No ONE has done this as of yet, and when you stop to think about it; It is truly a damn shame!. The classics we have seen are ripe for trophy support. It would give player’s an incentive to download these titles and attracted people that might not have been interested in purchasing these titles again. It’s your revenue Capcom and Sony, you should really consider investing a little more time to support trophies, come on guys. Be the first!
