Bitmob had an interview with Lorne Lanning, the father of the Oddworld franchise recently and he revealed some exciting stuff for fans of the series.
Oddworld: Abe’s Oddysee and Oddworld: Abe’s Exoddus will be re-released on the PSN. Lorne just signed the contract this past week to get these titles on the network, so we can expect to see them coming down the pipe pretty soon.
It’s great to see these two old classics are getting a second chance at life, but what about a new Oddworld you ask? Well as Lorne puts it:
“Regarding new material, we hope to have an announcement soon, but I’ve been saying that for awhile now so I’ll just shut up and hope for the best.”
Let’s all hope for the best and hope that a new Oddworld sees the light of day.
