Pictures emerge of the set for the upcoming film Battle: Los Angeles (2011) reveals a billboard erected specifically to be included in the film. As you can see in this picture, the billboard in question appears to be authentic considering it has the PS3 and Insomniac logos on it. Granted the producers of this film, could have purchased the rights to use this image and logos. That would make sense except, the production company of Battle: Los Angeles is Columbia Pictures who is owned by Sony Pictures Entertainment. So why would Sony bother to pay Sony? Neither Sony nor Insomniac Games has made any form of official announcement regarding Resistance 3. So in light of this billboard, which doesn’t exactly confirm the existence of the inevitable Resistance 3, it also displays images of New York City in it’s lettering as you can see a silhouette of the Statue of Liberty in the “A” of Resistance. (I can’t tell if that is the Chrysler Building or the Empire State Building silhouette in the “I” of Resistance. The SciFi Alien invasion file, Battle: Los Angeles stars Michelle Rodriguez and Aaron Eckhart and is set for a February 2011 release. Perhaps that’s when we will see Resistance 3, I’m sure they are working like mad men and women on the 2008 Smash hit: Resistance 2.
